The seaming was as painful as I expected it to be, and it’s not perfect, but I was reasonably happy in the end. It didn’t help that knitting combined style causes weird selvages. I need to try and sort this out before kniting anything else flat - like the hood of Isabelle’s poncho.

A cuddle with IsabelleIsabelle dancing for the camera

Isabelle hates being on this side of the camera as much as I do - unless you try pointing it at someone else that is.

The sweater looks great! You must be so happy it’s finished. Don’t worry about the hood on the poncho - I did a Kitchener stitch and it came out perfect. Really, it was one of the parts of the poncho I was most proud of.

Carla looks fantastic. Very nice work!

your carla is beautiful! i have some contton tape in that same color that i was thinking of using for a carla — hmm…

also, i’m a combined knitter too - it *is* faster than the other methods i think, but it does create a ton of problems for me when following patterns! anyhow, your seaming looks fine to me — and it’s a perfect fit!
