the second shoe

I knit most of tthe second Debbie Bliss Moss Stitch Shoe while waiting for my first bloods of the cycle, I finished it on the plane later Monday morning. I seamed it yesterday while Jesse was helping someone instead of driving with me to the coast.

Debbie Bliss Moss Stitch Shoe - ready to seam

I seamed the I heel first using mattress stitch and the moss stitches don’t quite match up but I am leaving it as is.

I forgot to bring any pins and had to make do with toothpicks. What do they say? Necessity is the mother of invention?

Debbie Bliss Moss Stitch Shoe - why use a pin when you can use a toothpick?

Here it is, all done.

Can you believe how gorgeous this glass table is for photographing little shoes?

Great job!! I’m still working on mine. I got the heel done, still working on the sole. I think they are the same color as yours. :D

So cute! The seaming looks so neat it doesn’t matter that the stitches aren’t matching.

I love the glass table background, it really shows off the knitting well. These booties are adorable! I made a couple pairs of this design, but in garter stitch. I wasn’t impressed with all the seaming that is required, but it definitely is adorable in the end.
